Steam methane reforming is a major method of hydrogen production. However, this usually suffers from low energy efficiency and high carbon-emission intensity. To solve issue, novel steam-methane-reforming process over Ni-based catalyst in pressurized dual fluidized bed reactor proposed work. A three-dimensional computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model for the complex physicochemical was built to study characteristics. The first validated against reported data terms hydrodynamics reaction kinetics. Next, performance methane-steam-reforming predicted.
